Adopt a Dog

Adopt a dog with the

Gold Paw Seal of Approval

Email Liz to receive an adoption application.

Almost every dog in our adoption program was initially selected as a potential Service Dog. If a dog isn't matched with a disabled person to begin special assistance training, then it becomes available for public adoption as a Therapy Dog or family companion.

The Gold Paw Seal of Approval for Great Temperament is awarded to dogs that excel in all categories of the temperament test. Most of our dogs have earned this prestigious status.

It can take anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks to process your application. Please be patient. We get over 200 email inquires each day!

We have more dogs available. Send us an email.

All dogs presented by Pawsibilities Unleashed Pet Therapy (PUPT) of Kentucky have been temperament tested. We place dogs in therapy, service, and companion homes, so we insist on the very best temperaments.

Unfortunately, dogs with awesome temperaments are euthanized in shelters every day because the shelters are full and their time is up. These are the dogs we are trying to save.

The goal of Pawsibilities Unleashed is to place animals in homes where they will do either therapy work or service work. All our animals are temperament tested several times by professional trainers and have the proper temperament for this kind of work. If you are interested in pet therapy (visiting nursing homes, schools, libraries, hospitals, etc.) or if you are in need of a service animal, we may be able to help. Please contact us for more information.
