Service Dogs We provive assistance dogs to people with seizures, hearing issues, panic attacks, post traumatic stress disorders, mobility needs and more. "Adopt Me" We rescue dogs with friendly temperaments from shelters throughout KY. They become Service Dogs, Therapy Animals and family companions. We offer consulting services too. Unlike many organizations, we believe that it is unethical to place dangerous dogs. All of our dogs have been temperament tested by professional behavorists. See our adoptable dogs >>
For Kids: K-9 Safety, Reading Program, 4-H
Our in-school K-9 Safety Program includes instruction in meeting new dogs and what to do in case of attack. It is also filled with fun dog tricks and lots of smiles and laughs. E-mail us to request a school visit or for more information. We have fun workbooks for kids. The 4-H Kids Program is a dog training class for young people.
Animal Hospice Care and Grief Counseling Ultimately, veterinary hospice care provides for "safe passage" for the pet in the comfort of the caregiver's home and allows "growth" to occur at the end of life-- ideally for both pet and client. Testing Center for Therapy Dogs and CGC Certifications
Our trainers are Canine Good Citizen (CGC) testers and we offer tests on Tuesdays and Saturdays in Frankfort, KY by appointment. Our organization offers Therapy Dog Certifications through PUPT. Becoming a member of PUPT includes liability insurance for your Therapy Dog.
