Paddy Mac came to live with us after a new baby arrived at his house. He had been passed from "parents" to "grandparents" most of the first 3 years of his life, spending most of the time with his "grandparents".  When he was about 2 years old the grandparents tried to get us to take him. Buster was in his prime of running our house and I just did not feel I could take on another male terrier.  About a year went by and "granddad" calls and asked if I would groom Paddy Mac... of course I do... He is a beautiful little boy.... I immediately start trying to convince Dennis that just maybe we could make this work.  Reluctantly he says yes.  The respective families involved were willing, and Paddy Mac moves in.  The first 2 months went pretty well. Paddy weaved his way into our hearts. Suddenly Buster realizes, "apparently" Paddy Mac is STAYING! Buster and Paddy started fighting over the least little thing, including Dennis and Me.. for the first year or so.  We finally worked that out!!!!   Paddy had been the dominant dog until he moved in with us and he did not want to give that up willingly. He put up a good fight, but finally conceded that Buster was in fact BOSS. After loosing his "title", Pad became more withdrawn, but we are getting him out of his "shell". He now struts around beside Buster and Sugar instead of walking behind them as he did before. He has learned to speak on command and can bark his name (!!!!)   P A D D Y!  He loves the involvement with the PUPT group.  He "dances" when he thinks he gets to go too.   However he is not very happy about the kitten (Ziggy) that has moved in with us. His prey drive kicks in. She runs and he chases:( Hopefully we will also work thru that so we can all co-exist together!!!!
