Become a Puppy Raiser

Service Dogs need to learn a lot before they can ever enter into the training they need for Service Dog work.

They need to learn manners, basic obedience, crate training, house training and how to live in a home.  They also need to socialize with people and other animals as much as possible and go in public and learn how to calmly enter and navigate stores, restaurants, and other public locations.

We need the help of volunteers to agree to take in future service dogs and help give them the foundation training they need so they can start their Service Dog training with their new placements.

This allows us to concentrate more on the specific and individualized training the dog will need to learn to perform tasks for their new Service Dog handler.

If you would like to help get a dog/puppy ready for Service Dog work, please contract us for more information.
